since lil man born 7 years ago, life seems always reset every december :) the only month in a year that never i forget to do some reflection, or make some list of milestones for least. so here i am again, trying to update a very long while along this year.

06.00 gedabrukan pagi, terutama senin pertama setiap bulannya, karena ada upacara.
07.30 berangkat sekolah, atau setengah jam sebelumnya kalau pas upacara. dan nggak gedabrukan.
15.00 waktu rata-rata jemput pulang sekolah, langsung meluncur BXC, snack time before all
15.30 hang out di rockstar, atau belajar persiapan kalau ada assesment di rotiO atau spot sepi
16.50 siap masuk kelas futsal academy w/ coach rizal
18.30 bubar, langsung pulang dan makan, di bxc kalo di rumah tampak rempong 
19.45 sudah di rumah, selesai makan, santai di sofa

but no wifi connection at home lately, and iphone hotspot costs quite a lot (coughing $$$).

our cool new house (surely) doesn't take too long to be home.
need no more pics update because its already a lot.
and even there are 2 media person contact us already, to publish us (our house),
hopefully we can work the undone parts.... which are about 50% i guess xD
....i don't know, can't predict well, but well... i have my finger crossed.

just thinking like it almost time to bring the work, our kind of works, to the next level :)

while still i spend days staring at my dearly living room, snuggling dudes in my left and right above our dearly white sheeted bed, insignificantly lying on the sofa below the breezy air from the fan.

a bless that will forever be my pleasure i can't get bored of. that it will felt so wrong for stop working and not gaining any more goodness from it. so wait wait :) hopefully wait, i'll figure something out.

hello checkpoint(s) part.1

welcome life of a first grader (mom) :D 
now its getting harder to list down milestones, as i myself must catching up with the lesson too. the new class was started last end of july. giddy up!

no no, baca tulis tetep belum lancar. meskipun muatan kurikulum (katanya) banyak (dan berat), baca tulis shaka belum lancar. semua huruf (in english) udah bisa, phonics, pronounce dan lettering. huruf bahasa Indonesia masih on progress :p masih suka lupa terutama antara A, E, I. spelling hmmm so-so lah... tapi mostly udah bisa baca kata per kata dalam bahasa dan english, terutama yg penulisan sama pengucapannya sama. karena bingung  juga ya ngajarinnya secara fase baca tulisnya beda sama jaman kecil dulu.... skrg karena sebenernya semua elemennya udah ready, katanya sih udah tinggal fase drilling baca cerita terus aja (semacam menunggu pencerahan xD) mungkin biar gak keburu gentar liat tulisan berbaris-baris. hahahaha... it will just come when the time it comes :) amen.

pelajarannyaaa.... ya lumayan. hahahaha. saat ini lagi musim assesment ke 2 untuk mata pelajaran utama, math, science, bahasa, english, mandarin. gimana kalo dibandingin sama jaman kecil dulu? hmmm. yang pasti memang muatannya lebih banyak, sehingga (kalo sadar) memang tampak lebih susah. tapi yang pasti juga, flow-nya beda. nggak usahlah disebutkan kalo tentang format materialnya atau buku atau tipe tugasnya yang jelas-jelas beda ya.... tapi flow-nya memang beda. 

rasanya sangat mungkin dari segitu banyaknya muatan yang dikasih, anak-anak cuma berasa seperti sekadar dapet ilmu baru seiring dia tumbuh besar. hmmm... gimana ya, meskipun banyak, dan mendalam, imho muatannya bersentuhan banget sama kehidupan sehari-hari. misal di english dan bahasa terutama muatannya untuk bercerita, presentasi, komunikasi, mengarang, reading comprehension. di science tentang anggota tubuh dan fungsi, jenis makanan dan fungsinya. di math masih seputar tambah kurang... tapii segala gaya. sampe 3 chapter juga belum selesai materinya. mandarin.... masih no clue lah, sampe sekarang satu-satunya cara belajar yang paling efektif adalah... minta tolong anaknya bacain, tunjukin, dan ajarin mamanya apa yang dia dapet di sekolah hahahaha... intinya lagi sih, semakin susah kalo mau sembarangan marah-marah dan ngasih tau tanpa dasar.

Sort of things... yang disyukuri adalah assesment nya lahir batin (iya lah, dari awal juga maunya kurikulum yang nggak gagap realita kan hihihi) nggak selalu writing... jadi shaka yang masih ogah baca instruction masih lumayan selamat, meski bikin KZL dan semacam mubazir belajar. secara konsep dan substansi, insyaallah he nailed it. moga-moga segera bisa catch up aja untuk aplikasi baca tulisnya... biar nggak usah ada tambahan les calis. biar bisa les yang enak-enak aja. biar momen pencerahan baca tulisnya dateng natural aja :) for the greatness in books and reading. me love good reads. that fuzzy feeling just too worthy to be missed. 

yang disyukuri juga adalah, senyum paginya setiap hari waktu masuk gate sekolah :) teriak panggil-panggil nama temen yang ajaib-ajaib. cengar-cengir ga ngeh pentingnya assesment atau lagi sampe chapter berapa, atau sebanyak apa homeworknya, atau apalah itu yang memang sengaja masih kita delay untuk drilling artinya, mostly segala hal yang sifatnya formal dan official itu. sampai sekarang drillingnya masih tetep seputar --must try to be as best as possible for like every moment. must practice again and again this and that. to finish what's been started. to do every little things wholeheartedly. jadi terutama memang masih seputar disiplin membangun rutinitas dan sikap belajar. terlepas dari kurang lebihnya, moga-moga bisa membawa kebaikan, we'll keep improving ya boy. one (or two or three lah :p) step at a time. mama papa juga sambil belajar. here we also are in our way trying as best as possible, make way for your education life :) bismillah.  
  
yang disyukuri juga adalah, homeworks nggak terasa berat. karena anaknya udah tau sendiri harus dikerjain, ngingetin terus mau kerjain, just like naturally :) rekornya adalah terakhir math homeworks 8 lembar, sekitar 3 jam, dijeda makan malam. no, its not so easy (or very fun). no, its not like he nailed it already. its just us doing it step by step wholeheartedly, dan ditutup dengan senyum puas (i know he did satisfy). Tapi kalau homeworks, ternyata nggak (atau belum) terlalu banyak kok, sejauh ini porsinya (dan manfaatnya) masih terasa pas. Memang masih harus ditemenin, tapi rasanya dibandingin sama hal-hal yang dikerjain mama-mama lain dan anaknya di sekolah kayaknyaaa, apalah aku ini hanyalah kucing (kece) diantara macan xD Sehingga kemudian jadwal pulang yang semakin sore, bisa dibilang adalah hal terkecil dari ritme baru ini. masih ada juga jadwal les yang udah antri ='D 

it sounds like all sunny and rainbows eh :D NOT! hahahaaha... i thanked God for no storm coming so far, but series of cloudy grey. and errr... maybe some haze xD hmmm... gini deh ya, ngecek jotterbook untuk dictation pertama salah semua itu rasanya nggak ada apa-apanya dibanding tau ada murid lain yang bahkan latihannya udah excelled sama dictation ketiga. kemudian pas cek medan perang untuk besok ada assesment, ternyata lagi pada review ini itu, segala presentasi juga pake rehearsal dulu di rumah sampe malem-malem. sementara disini anaknya udah otw bobo, kelar jam belajar sesuai paket jadwal harian (semacam itulah). itu rasaanya........ menggodaaaaa banget untuk ikut on fire lagi. haruuuus banget mencoba sabar untuk stick with the plan of keep doing things wholeheartedly-as best as possible-in certain times. having faith not to gain things instantly. FYUH! we seriously do some strategy-coordination-enhancement meeting about those values every now and then. sort of things lah x"D hahahaha.... just gotta stay strong. need to gain my very own kind of tiger mom. pun belom ketemu temen yang agak sealiran deh nih di sekolahan.... semacam udah yang paling oke aja. nggak deng, paling muda. Hahahaha... satu gen Y diantara gen X yang pasti. hihihi fingercrossed aja deh yaaa.

pagi ini dihadapkan kesempatan utk komputeran. pilihan prioritas awalnya adalah bikin wishlist ikea utk materi web yg akan dikerjain kinyo, satu dari sederetan thins-to-do yg belakangan ini tampak nggak habis2. tapi koneksi lagi lemot, dan sdh lama sekali nggak nulis begini…

pingin nulis tentang milestones…  setahun ini belum sekalipun ada review milestone shaka rasanya ngak mau kelewatan untuk milestone 18bulan ini. my babys already grown big. yea, i eventually missed a lot of things. twitter agak membantu sebenernya, tapi sistem dia masih nggak terlalu ok utk penyimpanan long term… hmmm, sebentar disalin dulu deh ya….

think this set of wardrobe (ANEBODA wardrobe 81x180 cm white -119SGD) and dresser (ANEBODA chest of 3 drawers 80x100 cm white - 89SGD) fit me and my family ;p i like the look, and the price. 2 set of the wardrobe would be a perfect starter wardrobe for me and husband, while 1 set of the dresser would be a perfect 'wardrobe' for my baby. later on, when we got all settled, both of the wardrobe would be cute too for our baby (or babies! :D) wardrobe. And the dresser of course, will go together as well. i always wanted a dresser. think that kind of furniture is very functional, and fit to almost all rooms in the house :)

what've been done before A year :countdown:

setelah tk kelewatan begitu banyak moment dan milestones utk dicatat, diingat, direkam, dan disimpan... masihlah pula hilang blackberry gemini putihnya... so im officially tracking down photos in some other's mobile phone or else... terutama utk bulan ke 7 s/d sekarang... fuh...

tapi juga setelah melewati banyak kekonyolan dan naik-turun kondisi tubuh (termasuk sakit roseola infantum di akhir bulan ke 10 sehingga smp skrg masih ada hutang imunisasi IPD), di bulan ke 11 ada banyaaaak yang baru yang canggih dan nyenengin. his name is shaka, and he used to act like a cute-sloppy baby boy. but he is now a toddler, still cute, and about to rise and shine ^^v bless u. cup.

first words : its still heard like a babbling, tapi sudah hampir pasti, adalah 'udah', 'mbak', 'papa', 'dadah'.... i will work more for 'mama' later -__-

first table food : gula garam colongan banyak di bulan ke 11 ini =D he's very demanding into foods. mulai dari kue basah tradisional nagasari, putu, kue temennya pukis favorit papa, honeystar mama, tahu goreng, ubi goreng, tempe goreng, banana berry di urban kitchen, paddle pop, conello disc, buavita mango..... biar kata icip-icip doang tetep aja terusan -__-' mudah-mudahan gapapalah... belakangan jg tk kasih keju, dan tk agak membebaskan diri sama dairy product dan telur.... masih ada reaksi sih, tapi sepertinya sdh jauh lebih baik..... mudah-mudahan semakin baik =) ....errrr.... tinggal tk harus nyari resep2 lagi skrg.....

last but not least, THEURBANMAMA.COM (this is ain't ad info, and you can call me geeky to say that... even i was thinking to put this name right on my last posting on mother's day actually... to me, the portal's been a quite good companion since then, cool and easy people with pretty cool mind and attitude. i wonder them many times, on how they make me feels (at home, or at least not alone) i really heart them ^^

and so... lets just welcoming tomorrow =)

what to do after A year :countdown:

menjelang shaka 1 tahun, menjelang tahun baru, dan mumpung papanya shaka lagi nggak di rumah dan ngaja ikea-an terus... mama mau bikin planning...

planning ini dibuat dengan serius, dan diharapkan juga disertai dengan follow up financial planning yang sama seriusnya ^o^ hihihi...

:aslinya sih lagi abis-abisan... jadi yuk kita mimpi dulu aja:

2011 - shaka 1 tahun

sama oma, eyang, kakung, om, auntie, mama, papa, digilir deh satu-satu gapapa

buat warming up... pengenalan sama dunia luar, ahahaha =D luar negeri kalo bisa mah....

#2 Pindah rumah sendiri

rumah baru, kasur baru, dipan baru, lemari baru, meja makan baru, ... ayo kita sama-sama bilang amiiin..... ^^v

2012 - shaka 2 tahun

ikut paketnya di Cikal... insyaallah masih affordable dan bisa jadi tempat main-main dan pengenalan sekolah beserta proses belajar dan bersosialisasi yg nyenengin...

#3 CRIB baru buat shaka

anak mama udah gede dooong, udah disapih, bobonya juga mulai sendiri ya.... ntar nyari tempat tidur serius ya... semacam daybed/box bayi yg agak besar yg desainnya memungkinkan utk co-sleeping sama mamapapa dan dipake s/d shaka 5tahunan, aman, dan, bisa jadi box lagi buat kalau punya adek lagi nantiii... ^_* (masih sangat suka cot 3in1 ini.... atau babybelle winston yg lebih murah, tapi katanya drop-side crib spt itu udah di US di-banned krn nggak aman... jd 3in1 cot ini masih sgt perrfect... oh i love customized design!)

busy little man

:my oh my, it hasn't been a week since my review, and the new lists are already there in a long queue:

gigi pertamaaaa ^0^ hyaaay! yang diawali dengan demam beneran pertama, di tengah-tengah batuk-pilek pertama yg juga merupakan sakit 'serius' pertama :( yg dimulai di awal makan karbohidrat pertama yaitu bubur beras merah yg ditolak habis2an lewat huek-huek imut yg setelah jadi hueeek beneran jd nggak imut lagi.

hari ini curiga, apa mgkn shaka ga tahan sama beras merah, krn diliat2 merah2 dilehernya (dan mulai di dada dan kepala) lebih seperti merah2 alergi. haaah, apa bnr kt dr.kiki, alergi itu areanya bisa bertambah kalo nggak ditangani, haaaaahhh.... ini lagi masanya coba2 makanan pun. habis alergi apa lagi, tk rasanya udh nggak makan apa2 yg aneh2....

batuknya masih ada. tapi insyaallah setelah kemunculan si gigi, badan udah fit spt semula :) ketawanya, usreknya, rutinitasnya, cuma kasian aja kalo lagi tidur suka kebangun krn batuk... mudah2an cpt sembuh...

oiya, ada lagi yg pertama, yaitu, bongkahan pup pertama! :D mungkin krn kentang ya, hihihi... mudah2an shaka semakin pinter makannya. sbnrnya agak deg2an setiap shaka agak males2an makan karbo (yg nggak manis spt buah2an)

pertama lainnya adalah obat demam tempra, obat pilek alco, kentang, dan air jeruk yg tadi dipake buat ngencerin biar makan kentangnya lebih lahap :p

learning to sit (minus bumbo seat yg mahal itu), learning to crawl and fasten up the manuver (mamanya lap keringet), learning the edge of the bed (biar ga bolak-balik jatoh), learning to drink with spout (karena mamanya ga mau beli doidy cup), learning to have a walk by stroller (karena ternyata lebih sehat drpd digendong), and of course waiting for the growth of the (next) teeth (mudah2an nggak pake cranky). they are also in the schedule of this little man of mine.
